Chiang Mai's tulips in full bloom during New Year holiday14 Dec 2018
CHIANG MAI, 14 December 2018 (NNT) – The Royal Park Rajapruek will open a full-bloom tulip garden during the Christmas and New Year holidays from 25 December 2018 to 10 January 2019. The Highland Research and Development Institute's (HRDI) Director Ruchira Rimphadi said the Royal Park Rajapruek will open the tulip festival, showing colorful tulip flowers in once-a-year full bloom during 25 December 2018 - 10 January 2019. This year's display will feature the concept of "Charms of 100,000 fields," with a variety of flowers such as tulips, lilies, and orchids from Royal Projects, arranged over 470 rai of land, as well as performances and demonstrations of traditional customs and cuisine. The park also features an exhibition of King Rama IX, disseminating the late monarch's teachings and wisdoms. Phayao organizes Informal Labor Fair14 Dec 2018
PHAYAO, 14 December 2018 (NNT) - Phayao Provincial Office of Welfare and Labor Protection organized Phayao Informal Labor Fair 2018. Labor Protection and Welfare Department Director General Wiwat Tanhong presided over the opening ceremony of Phayao Informal Labor Fair 2018 at Phayao City Hall. The event was aimed at presenting the Phayao informal labor situation, exchanging knowledge and forming a network. The event, attended by more than 600 people, also showcased products by informal workers.

2018 Chamber of Commerce Fair in Uttaradit15 Dec 2018
UTTARADIT, 15th December 2018 – The northern province of Uttaradit is hosting the 2018 Chamber of Commerce Fair from now until December 23rd. The fair is taking place in the capital district of the province. The opening ceremony on Friday was presided over by Thanakorn Ungjitpaisan. The organizers, Uttaradit Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Commerce, said the fair brings together low-priced, yet quality products from local communities such as rice, chicken eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, organic products, and OTOP products. Many products came from leading manufacturers in Phuket, according to the organizers, especially eggs and sugar which are sold at relatively low prices compared with those found in other markets. The fair helps lower household expenses and offers a platform for the producers to sell their products directly to the consumers.
