The Prime Minister is pleased with the latest tourism ranking of Bangkok on top of the world’s most visited cities in 2016. The annual Mastercard Global Destinations Cities Index has reported that Bangkok has become the top-ranking destination city by international overnight visitor arrivals with over 22 million arrivals projected throughout this year. Bangkok also has the advantage of its geographical location and its diversity in tourist destinations, merchandise, food, culture, entertainment and conveniences in transportation.
