BMA is advising the public to wear decent attire when paying homage to the late King Rama IX in the Grand Palace. People from other provinces may request to stay at Thai-Japanese Stadium and Baan Im Jai house by notifying BMA Joint Administration Center at Sanam Luang. Shuttle buses to and from Sanam Luang are also available at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.

Ministry of Interior has ordered all provinces to adhere to the plans to facilitate people traveling to pay their respects to the late monarch during 29 October 2016 - 20 January 2017. The number of mourners traveling to Bangkok is expected at about 250,000.
