VDO - Interviews with winners Triathlon at Laguna Phuket
On Sunday morning around 1,000 tri-athletes, relay and fun runners joined in the Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2008 in Bang Tao. We followed the swimming, biking and running until the finish. We then caught up with the winners, first with Richie Cunningham, from Australia, the Men’s winner in 2 hours 28 mins, & 19 secs in the 1.8km swim, 55 km bike, & 12 km run event. He beat Massimo Cigna from Italy, last year’s winner, & Chris Legh from Australia in 3rd place. He first told us how he won the race:

That was Richie Cunningham, from Australia, the Men’s winner; then we talked to Belinda Granger, the Women’s winner & Mirinda Carfrae, also from Australia, who came 2nd in the Laguna Phuket Triathlon 2008; Belinda won in 2 hours 47 mins, & 11 secs; Mirinda 2nd in 2 hours 50 mins, & 2 secs; both beat Alexandra Louison from France in 3rd; Belinda first describes how she won:
