| Student Loan Fund has been established since 1995 and started lending in the 1996 semester under the supervision of the Ministry of Finance. Student Loan Fund has the objective to provide loans for less-fortunate students to pay for tuition fees, academic-related activities as well as other necessary living costs during their studies. Students in the high school level, vocational schools and universities are equally eligible for the loans for universal access to education. Student Loand Fund hopes to decrease the parents’ financial burdens and develop the nation’s human resources. With the loans, the borrowers can complete their studies according to curriculum with responsibilities for themselves and the society they live in. Student Loan Fund provide loans based on demands from the Thai economy and society while adhering to country’s financial discipline and good governance principle. |
