Confidence in Thailand

      The Abhisit Vejjajiva administration took office towards the end of the year 2008, at the height of political conflicts, social division, and the global economic crisis. The Government declares its priority policy  to boost confidence in and stimulate the overall economy in order to promote investment and consumption among the people and private sectors.  Specifically, it vows to expeditiously boost confidence in Thailand among the global community.

      The Prime Minister and Cabinet members have been studiously worked to shore up confidence in Thailand, among the Thai people themselves, and friendly nations around the world, through the promotion of trade, technical cooperation, and people-to –people contacts. The Prime Minister sets for himself the task of the country’s spokesperson in Thailand and international for a. His televised weekly talk to the people is entitled “Confidence in Thailand with PM Abhisit”. Confidence building is an ongoing process in Thailand and in her dealing with the outside world.
