BANGKOK (NNT) - Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has attended an event to celebrate 30 years of successful development of the Chaipattana Foundation.
At 1:52 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct 30), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn proceeded to CentralWorld shopping complex in Pathum Wan district, Bangkok, to attend the event hosted by the Chaipattana Foundation. The event is being held from October 28 to November 3, 2019, to commemorate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great’s work to improve the livelihoods of the people of Thailand.
Currently, the Chaipattana Foundation oversees more than 200 projects, encompassing agriculture, the environment, alternative energy, disaster relief operations and cooperation with foreign countries.
The event promotes the work of the Chaipattana Foundation to the public and encourages young people to support the foundation’s work.
Highlights of the event include an exhibition of His Majesty King Bhumibol’s and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s utensils and appliances, a three-dimensional augmented reality (AR) display and four short documentaries on efforts to combat natural disasters, improve agriculture, provide careers and restore affected areas.
The event features stalls selling products made by communities supported by the Chaipattana Foundation and vocational workshops. The Chaipattana Foundation, is also selling a book on its work over the past three decades. The proceeds from the event will be used to support the Chaipattana Foundation’s ongoing work.
