LAMPANG (NNT) - The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) Mae Moh office will be opening its 100-acres of land for tourists this winter season, featuring gardens of flowers at an altitude of 495-meters above sea level at the Mae Moh Festival 2019 GREENOVATION In the PARK.
Many tourists last year visited EGAT Mae Moh’s flower gardens in full bloom around the Mae Moh mine, with sunn hemp, cosmos, and Mexican sunflowers in full bloom, bringing vibrant colors to the landscape. That atmosphere is returning this year at the Mae Moh Festival 2019 GREENOVATION In the PARK at EGAT Mea Moh campus in Lampang, which will take place on 22nd-24th October 2019. The EGAT has guaranteed visitors will be as entertained and as impressed by the beautiful scenery as in previous years.
Mee Moh Mine Assistant Governor Ampon Kitichotkul, said today the event this year will follow a GREENOVATION In the PARK theme, celebrating EGAT’s 50th anniversary, which signifies the EGAT’s objective to continue developing energy innovations, promoting green energy, improving Thailand’s energy security, and helping advance the country and the region’s economic development in parallel with social and environmental responsibilities, improving the happiness and quality of life of Thai people sustainably.
At this three-day, three-night festival, visitors will enjoy pure air and cold breezes in the midst of a romantic atmosphere, with a sea of fog, and the beauty of flowers, planted in front of the 84th Anniversary of His Majesty the King Garden, in full bloom. The gardens take up some 100 acres, creating a vast, colorful landscape to welcome all visitors.
