MECCA, 16th July 2019 (NNT) - Thai pilgrims have taken the opportunity to visit several Islamic historical locations, situated in Northern Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

These locations include: Jabal Sur mountain range and Jabal Noor mountain range. Visiting these sites serves as a reminder and recollection of significant events in the Prophet Muhammad’s era. Throughout the visit, academics were present to provide knowledge and information to the pilgrims to help them understand the circumstances of the past era better.

Furthermore, the pilgrims travelled to see each of the locations used in performing the Hajj ceremony such as Mina field, Arafah field, and Muzdalifa. In order to manage the high volume of Hajj pilgrims this year, the Saudi Arabian authority has arranged these venues to support over three million pilgrims from around the world.

The visit was a fortunate opportunity for the pilgrims to fully understand the essence of Islam. It also helps them to be ready for all of the duties they are required to fulfill once the Hajj ceremony begins in coming weeks.
