Sri Lanka Easter Blasts: Residents warned to avoid crowded places

BANGKOK, 21 April 2019 (NNT) - Easter Day bomb blasts at three churches and three hotels in Sri Lanka killed at least 130 people and wounded more than 400, according to a hospital official and police sources.

Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs revealed that the Thai embassy in Colombo has so far received no report of any Thais being affected by the attacks. Local officials are conducting thorough scene inspections. The Thai embassy in Colombo has warned Thai expats to avoid crowded places in the capital city for their own safety.
