Tat Ton Waterfall in Chaiyaphum ready to welcome tourists

BANGKOK, 13 April 2019 (NNT) - Tat Ton National Park in Mueang Chaiyaphum district, has organized an activity to welcome tourists to Tat Ton waterfall during the Songkran festival.


Tat Ton National Park in Mueang Chaiyaphum district is bustling with tourists who are having fun playing with water during the Songkran festival. It is a famous tourist attraction which was awarded the Gold Kinnaree Award for three consecutive years.


This year, Tat Ton National Park has organized an activity to welcome tourists to Tat Ton waterfall during the Songkran festival by sprucing up the area, car park, toilets, souvenir shops, photo shooting spots and rest areas along the stream of waterfalls. Park officials and nurses are on duty to take care of the tourists.


Sacred Buddha images from various temples in 10 subdistricts around the national park have been temporarily enshrined at the national park so that people can pour water on them and ask for blessings before playing in the water at the waterfall.


Tat Ton Waterfall is in full flow all year round and suitable for swimming in every season. There are also a lot of trees around the waterfall. It is a popular spot among tourists especially at this time when the weather is generally hot. A large number of tourists from both Chaiyaphum and other provinces arrive every day to play in the water to cool down and eat food at the attractive waterfall site.
