Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayothin revealed that tomorrow a meeting of the Democrat Party's executives will determine the candidates to run for the next Bangkok governor post. The meeting, to be presided over by Mr. Banyat Bantadtan (ºÑÑµÔ ºÃ÷Ѵ°Ò¹), will also be attended by Mr. Apirak. The matter is expected to be concluded by early August. Mr. Apirak said that he did not know whether his party's leader had proposed his name, but assured that personally he is ready for another term.
Meanwhile, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Bangkok Anant Siripasraporn (͹ѹµì ÈÔÃÔÀÑÊÃÒÀóì) affirmed that the city's administration is ready to hold elections on October 5th. Over 50 district offices are already preparing to actively publicize the election.
