Director-General of the Department of Internal Trade, Yanyong Puangrach (ÂÃç ¾Ç§ÃÒª), says the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) will not decrease on July 1st as the Energy Policy Board has yet called a meeting to discuss the price hike.
The director-general says the department has dispatched officials to inspect LPG stations following complaints that they refused to sell the gas to customers. The officials have reported that many of the stations had no gas to sell as LPG distributors did not deliver the gas to them.
Mr Yanyong says LPG stations of PTT sell the gas normally and there are only some LPG distributors which have not delivered the gas to the stations.
