Prime Minister Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department (DDPM) to prepare assistance for northern and northeastern people who may be affected by heavy rain and landslide next week.

Youths aged between 5 and 15 are invited to send their paintings to a competition under the theme “OUR HOME OUR COUNTRY STRONGER TOGETHER”, presenting an inspirational idea to promote love, unity and integrity in Thai society. Their paintings should be on A4 size with unlimited art techniques, attached with a brief explanation of up to five lines. The Government Spokesperson Major General Sansern Keawkamnerd revealed the Prime Minister was satisfied the police performance for big progress in the Bangkok bomb investigation. However, the prime minister pleaded media and net users not to over criticize the investigation and rely on official investigative result that is announced daily by NCPO in order to prevent public confusion.
